When our clients asked us to design this bedroom for their eight year old daughter, we wanted to come up with a design which would grow with her. We decided to go for a 'shaker style' with a hand painted finish for that clean, simple lines look. Inside the wardrobes we put some shelves and some double hanging. If she wishes, when she gets older, the middle hanging rail can be taken out for full length hanging of items such as long coats and dresses.

Our client's daughter was a very keen reader and had lots of books she wanted to display. We made three bookcases. Two in the run of wardrobes and one free standing.

The double bed was made with a pull out single bed for girly sleepovers.
