Quirky Summer Kitchen

Our client Heather had asked for a summer kitchen for her new extension build.

For the main units we used oak that had been sanded instead of planned to give it a lovely rustic look and finished it by hand waxing. The rustic hand forged steal hinges and quirky cast iron handles give it a unique, different look to truly compliment the kitchen.to finish we added a green slate work top.

A freestanding top cupboard with integrated copper rail and matching rustic style shelves with cast iron brackets complete the look.

For something truly unique we designed and made an occasional seat in the style of an old train luggage cart complete with cast iron wheels, to keep in style we repurposed an old coffee table with reclaimed trolley wheels to resemble an old-style mill troll.

Finally, a floating media unit with quirky handles give it the quirky rustic style that our client had requested.
